Zion Lutheran School is fully accredited nationally through the National Lutheran School Accreditation program of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS) with an "EXCELLENT" rating. The school also holds accreditation through the Lutheran School Accreditation Commission of the Texas District of the LCMS and the Texas Private Schools Association.
Curriculum and Program Objectives
The Elementary and Middle School curriculum includes the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) as prescribed by the Texas Education Agency “Standards for a Well-Balanced Curriculum” and “Integrating the Faith” as presented by the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod in the areas of:

Zion Lutheran School provides extracurricular opportunities as an extension of its total education program and to allow students to develop non-academic interests and skills. Extracurricular activities offered at Zion Lutheran School may include student council, band, handbell choir, scholar bowl, math contest, geography bee, the National Junior Honor Society, and the variety show. Athletic opportunities offered at Zion include basketball, flag football, soccer, volleyball, cheerleading, cross country, track and field, and field days.
