Brief Biography:  LaVonne was born in Ft. Wayne, Indiana and was baptized at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Warsaw, Indiana. She is the oldest of six children. Her father is a retired Lutheran school principal. Her mother is a church organist. LaVonne spent her school years in Hammond, Indiana, near Chicago. She was confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hammond. She has taught all levels from 3 year olds through 8th grade and music. She also spent 4 years teaching children with learning differences. LaVonne is the organist at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Plano. In her spare time she enjoys reading, sewing, and gardening. LaVonne has 3 children and 3 grandchildren.  Rachel, her husband Mike, and their daughters Katy and Andrea live in Tallmadge, Ohio. Elise, her husband Neal, and their daughter Lillian live in Plano. Lillian attends school at Zion. Her son Alaric also lives in Plano.
